Wild and Energetic were the words she used in our pre-session conversations.

She isn’t the only one either. I would say 90% of my mamas at some point or another, use those words to describe their toddlers. They present it almost as a warning to let me know that they have no idea what to expect for this session.

Mama, bring those wild and energetic babies my way with confidence! Are they wild? Yes. Are they energetic? You betcha! But one of the best parts about family photos is documenting who your family is at this exact moment.

Think about your child(ren). What were they like a year ago? What about even six months ago? They have changed so much since then.

Now think about a year from now. Think about walking into the living room and seeing your family’s picture hanging on the wall. Do you want to remember his/ her wild and energetic spirit?

ABSOLUTELY! Because that wild and energetic spirit is them! It is exactly who they are at this stage in time.

So let them be wild! Let them be energetic! Let them run down the beach as you have to chase them, let them let out the squeals of “you’ve got me”, embrace the tackles when you ask for hugs, and roll with the kisses that turn into head butts.
